Make Money With Squidoo

Do you Squidoo?  I just started with Squidoo and I am loving it.  Not only is it free but you can monetize it and make money with Squidoo!  How much depends on just how much you want to put into it.  So what is Squidoo?  One user compared Squidoo as being “MySpace for grownups”.

I have known about Squidoo for a while, in fact I had two very successful internet marketers (and Squidoo experts) Tiffany Dow and Lewis Smile over at  Buildmylens.com build my first lens for me over a year ago.  A lens is like your own little spot on Squidoo.  You can fill your lens with anything that interests you such as a great new recipe, work at home tips, wedding ideas, etc.  You can even build as many lenses as you like. Then, once you start promoting it and getting visitors you can start earning money from various affiliate programs and other ad revenue.

After my first lens was built I made a huge mistake by not doing anything with it.  Just like a website or blog you need to nurture it, add fresh content from time to time and promote it.  My lens is still there but the traffic has dropped considerably.

So what brought me back to Squidoo?  Actually I happened to stumble on it again while I was doing research for something else.  Realizing that I really could make money with Squidoo  I have decided to really give it my all and just built my first lens: www.squidoo.com/multiple-streams-of-internet-income (if you get a chance stop by and sign my guest book. Squidoo is 100% free to use and you can go through the various tutorials there and learn how to make money with Squidoo on your own.  However, Tiffany has a great ebook that will help you step by step to not only build your lens but also teach you tips and tricks to earn money with it called Social Marketing 101 .  This ebook will walk you through the steps from creating a Squidoo account to building your first lens, monetizing it and marketing it.  This also comes with some great bonuses such as “flip that lens” which will teach you how to build a lens and turn around and sell it for money.  Other bonuses are also included.

One thing that I do want to point out is that since Tiffany put out the guide they have changed a few things.  For example Squidoo now has the “magic builder” which is great for putting up lenses but if you want to follow step by step with Tiffany  you can simply click on the option and switch to the old lensbuilder in the upper right hand corner.  I emailed Tiffany and she said that she will also be putting out an updated version and anyone who has the old ebook will get the updated one at no extra cost.

Because I am new to actually building lenses on Squidoo I will be posting regularly to keep you updated on my own progress.  I really think that if we are willing to go through the steps and stick with it we can all make money with Squidoo!
