Did You Get Your Free Squidoo Guide Yet?

Do you know how to Squidoo?  Many people simply do not realize the power that this social site can harness and bring to business.

Whether you are trying to send traffic to your websites or blogs, sell affiliate products or generate a buzz around your own business Squidoo is a great, free way to promote it.

Squidoo is more powerful than many of the social sites online in that the content you write up is better formatted, easy to read and best of all, ranks well in the search engines thanks to Squidoo’s authority status. Many marketers are now using Squidoo as a major part of their marketing plan.

You can use Squidoo to market products as an affiliate, or to promote your own products.  Lets say you are an affiliate marketer with Commission Junction and want to sell a specific product.  You could set up a complete Squidoo page (called a lens) as well as links to the product that you are promoting.  When visitors buy you earn commission on the sale.

Another good way to use Squidoo is by advertising your current business.  For example, maybe you are with a direct sales company complete with a website that the company provides you.  Unfortunately, all the other company reps also have a company website so you have to compete for traffic and sales.   Squidoo can give you an advantage by pointing targeted  visitors to your website.  Just create a lens about your business, why you joined, why you love the products etc and link to your company website.

You can also take advantage of Squidoo simply to publish high quality content to establish yourself as a niche topic expert, and then in turn send people to your own website. A Squidoo lens can contain as much information as you’d like it to - some lenses only have one or two entries yet rank high in search engine results.

Squidoo also shares ad revenue that it earns with its members.  For some this is pocket change while others do quite well with it.  Either way Squidoo is a great way to earn multiple streams of internet income.

There is no limit to the potential of Squidoo, but one thing is for sure: if you continue to publish high quality content you will be rewarded with high search engine rankings and more traffic and sales than you can imagine.
