Build Passive Income With Niche Blogs Part 1

Did you know that you could build a passive income with niche blogs?  Even if you don’t have your own products to sell you can earn an income just by blogging about something that you enjoy.  Keep in mind that the income you earn will not be immediate.  However, the work that you put into niche blogs now could pay off very well a few months from now.

As a work at home mom I have tried many things to earn money online, I have made money at some things such as direct sales (aka home party plans) but found that it just wasn’t for me.  I also have a few websites that have helped me earn income in different ways such as selling advertising and  affiliate marketing (more on that in a minute).  Lately I have found it easier, more profitable and even kind of fun to set up niche blogs instead of websites.

Affiliate marketing is when you earn commissions for selling products and/or gather leads for other online merchants.  Have you ever visited a website and noticed that it had banners for related companies?  For example you might visit a recipe site and find banners for online merchants that sell pots and pans.  If you were to click on one of those banners and make a purchase then the owner of the recipe site would earn a small commission.  What makes this ideal is that you don’t have to have your own products to sell and there are thousands of online merchants that allow you to offer their products and pay you a commission on sales.  I share some links to some popular affiliate programs in part 2 of this article.

If you are serious about building an income with niche blogs then I would definitely use wordpress.  Up until a few months ago I avoided wordpress because I just couldn’t figure it out.  However I recently joined a niche blogging course that I am very impressed with.  In fact, I have enjoyed it so much that after the first few weeks I upgraded to lifetime member.

The Niche Blogger was created by a stay at home mom named Amy who was heavily into debt.  She started working online to get out of debt and blogging about her progress.  I have been following her progress for over a year and became quite impressed.  So, like many others I jumped at the chance to join her niche blogging course.  You can learn more about Amy and get a three day trial of her niche blogging course here:

In part 2 of this article I  share more about Amy’s course, give some affiliate marketing resources and share with you how some very happy niche bloggers have stumbled on another income source while building their own niche blogs.
